I believe all children can learn at their highest level. Children need to be encouraged not discouraged. They need positive reinforcement not negative reinforcement. They need to know you really care about them both educationally and as a person. If you have a good relationship with a student you can make a big difference in their lives.

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Religious Education and Elementary Education, grades 1-8, all subjects. I have a Master’s Degree in elementary education with an emphasis in reading specialist. I have a Rank I as an administrator.

I all grades elementary through middle school. The majority of my teaching experience is in grade 5 reading and math. I was also an elementary assistant principal and the Pupil of Personnel.

I was a coach for the middle school academic team for 3 years. I took several students to the Kentucky State Academic Team competition. I have been and judge and grader in Academic team matches.
