Get Your Child Ready for the ILEARN Assessment
SchoolTutoring Academy’s ILEARN Tutoring Programs start with an ACADEMIC ASSESSMENT with an Academic Director. This assessment informs your child’s ILEARN tutor about their abilities, strengths, and weaknesses so the tutoring program can be tailored to their specific needs. Our ILEARN Tutoring Program includes regular one-on-one tutoring, academic mentorship, bi-monthly progress reports, learning profiles, and parental conference calls.

Understanding
the ILEARN Assessment
Indiana state testing begins in 3rd grade. Students must complete ILEARN assessments annually in ELA and Mathematics from 3rd to 8th grade. Additionally, 3rd grade students must also complete the Indiana Reading Evaluation and Determination (IREAD-3) assessment to ensure that their reading level is at the state standard. Along with ELA and Mathematics, students also complete ILEARN assessments in Science in 4th and 6th grade and an ILEARN Social Studies assessment in 5th grade. Once in high school, students must complete the ILEARN End-of-Course Assessment (ECA) in Biology along with the SAT. For more information on the ILEARN assessment you can visit the Indiana Department of Education website.
