Get Your Child Ready for CMAS Assessments
SchoolTutoring Academy’s CMAS Tutoring Programs start with an ACADEMIC ASSESSMENT with an Academic Director. This assessment informs your child’s CMAS tutor about their abilities, strengths, and weaknesses so the tutoring program can be tailored to their specific needs. Our CMAS Tutoring Program includes regular one-on-one tutoring, academic mentorship, bi-monthly progress reports, learning profiles, and parental conference calls.

Understanding
the CMAS
Colorado state testing begins in 3rd grade as part of the Colorado Measures of Academic Success. From 3rd-8th grade, students complete assessments annually in ELA and Mathematics. Additionally, 5th and 8th grade students complete Science assessments. Once in high school, students take the PSAT in 9th and 10th grade, the SAT in 11th grade, and a CMAS Science assessment in 11th grade. These tests cover ELA, Mathematics, and Science. Completing these assessments/tests with a sufficient score is a graduation requirement. For more information on the CMAS you can visit the Colorado Department of Education website.
