Get Your Child Ready for the PAT

SchoolTutoring Academy’s PAPs Tutoring Programs start with an ACADEMIC ASSESSMENT with an Academic Director. This assessment informs your child’s PAP tutor about their abilities, strengths, and weaknesses so the tutoring program can be tailored to their specific needs. Our PAP Tutoring Program includes regular one-on-one tutoring, academic mentorship, bi-monthly progress reports, learning profiles, and parental conference calls.

Understanding
PAP Assessments

Manitoba’s Provincial Assessment Program (PAP) administers provincewide assessments for all students starting in grade 3. While in elementary and middle school, students are tested in Reading and Numeracy in grade 3, French in grade 4, Mathematics in grade 7, and ELA in grade 8. Once in high school, testing begins with the Grade 10 Pilot Evaluation which focuses on Mathematics and Reading. Students complete the PAP with several tests in grade 12 with a 40S test in ELA/French and an Applied/Essential/Pre-Calculus Mathematics test, depending on their individual academic streams. For more information on these assessments you can visit the PAP website.
