My goal is to facilitate student learning by understanding the learning styles of my students. I strive to reach all learners and help them gain lifelong skills. I believe all students are capable of learning.

I received my Master of Science in School Counseling and Guidance. My Bachelor of Arts is in English and my minor is in Political Science. I received my teacher certification training of over 48 credit hours. My certifications are in Elementary Education and English, 6-12.

My most recent experience in education has been working in elementary and middle schools as a school counselor in Florida. I have also taught Reading/ Language Arts in Middle school and at the High School Level. In addition to teaching whole classes, I have provided interventions in Reading individually and in small groups for two years.

I am a member of a Rotary club which participates in charitable activities for the community several times a month. I also frequently volunteer with the local food bank and food pantries in the area.
