The art of teaching is a continuous journey an educator must pursue. He/ she must actively challenge herself in her field of expertise and remain dedicated in providing educational excellence for her students. A good educator teaches her course and maneuvers her pedagogy to meet her students’ learning needs. However, an excellent educator adds compassion and motivation to further secure her students success.

I received three Associate of Arts degrees from a junior college in my community, Los Medanos College. I transferred to further my degree, receiving a Bachelor of Arts, Legal Studies degree from the University of California, Berkeley. Soon after, I continued and finished the Master of Arts in Teaching/ Urban Education program from the University of Southern California.

My classroom teaching experiences were obtained as part of my fieldwork as I pursued my graduate degree. I am highly experienced in mentoring and advising students in all grade level.

I currently hold a position as a as-needed Supervising Coordinator for a non-profit organization catering to international exchanged students. I keep myself informed on this topic as well as maintaining my knowledge in our public educational system.
