Education is about personal growth, not test scores. There are many types of students with many types of learning styles.

I attended a state grammar school in the United Kingdom, and won a local education authority scholarship to Oxford University. While I was at Oxford University, I obtained my Masters of Arts in History. I completed my Post-graduate Certificate in Education also at Oxford University, and later my Masters of Arts in History at Simon Fraser University.

I have taught university prep courses in Vancouver for over twenty years. I also spent 10 years teaching at the college and university level in British Columbia. Additionally, I spent 4 years as a principal of a high school.

I have been involved in rowing as a participant and s a coach for 40 years. I enjoy traveling, reading, walking, bicycling, and photography.
