It is very important to me that I motivate my students to appreciate the science that surrounds them in their natural environment, and not just treat it as a subject that they study in school.

I have a Bachelor of Arts from Queens College, where I majored in Biology. I also have a Masters of Science, specializing in Education, from New York University.

I have taught many different levels of science over the past 14 years, both in middle and high school. My experience has been focused on teaching Chemistry and General Science. I have also taught Algebra in the Middle School setting.

I am a very active person, enjoy traveling, and enjoy outdoor activities. In addition, I also enjoy doing crossword puzzles, needlepoint, and spending time with my family.
