All students are capable learners when provided with opportunities for success. A versatile learning environment to reach all types of learners is essential for everyone’s success. With a flexible, understanding, and enthusiastic instructor learning can be successful and engaging. Students and teachers should be able to learn together to create the optimal learning environment.

I received my Bachelor’s Degree from Central Michigan University with a major in Special Education. I am a certified teacher in the state of Pennsylvania.

I have worked as a substitute teacher in school districts in areas of Michigan and Pennsylvania. I have also had opportunities to tutor students in person and online. For the past four years I have been working as an intervention provider assisting students in small group and one-on-one learning situations.

I have volunteered with Girl Scouts, after school tutoring and school improvement teams. I enjoy working with students in creative and educational settings. I have also worked with students in after school programs focusing on math and learning games.
