EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
Education allows opportunities to open. Education teaches people how to problem solve. With a good education, new ideas can be formed to make the world a better place. Education teaches people to learn and appreciate other peoples’ culture.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
I studied Spanish at the University of Minnesota. While studying Spanish, reading literature was emphasized.  I truly learned to appreciate and learn about other peoples’ culture.  I also studied Mathematics. While studying mathematics, I used number sense to come up with the solutions was emphasized instead of memorizing formulas. 
TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I teach number sense to students. I have been successfully doing so for more than three years. I taught Spanish in a classroom setting. 
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
I travel to central America to volunteer through Common Hope. I build houses in Guatemala. I go to church to learn about spiritual gifts once a week for two hours. I also enjoy bike rides around lakes.  I often visit the zoo and learn about different species of animals.
