I believe that education is the solution to poverty. I believe that in life, we are either part of the solution or part of the problem. I chose to be a part of the solution by becoming an educator.

I have always had a love for technology, and therefore attended VSU and earned my BS in Business Education. I later decided to further my education to be able to focus on adult education which is why I earned my MS in the Foundations of Education, Post-Secondary Education.

I am experienced in teaching business office tech classes, middle grades math, and social studies classes. I taught adult GED classes and adjunct with the local technical college. Outside of adult education, I have many years of experience teaching at the middle school level.

I have tutored many neighborhood children and adults over the years due to my love of education. I have helped several adults obtain their GED as well as privately tutoring elementary and middle grades students to help them achieve academic success.
