I believe that if a child cannot learn the way you are teaching, then you need to find a new way to teach the child. I am also a believer in lifelong learning. Our lives are only made better the more we learn, in the classroom, from those around us, and from our experiences.

I received my B.S. Social Psychology from Park University. I then went to ECU to get my teacher certification courses in Elementary Education. I am currently working on my M.S. in Special Education from WGU.

I have 5 years of combined teaching experience as a paraprofessional and teacher.

In my free time, I enjoy running. It is a wonderful way to clear my mind and keep me healthy. I hope that it setting a good example for my children, so they will also be active. I enjoy spending time with my husband and 4 children.
