My educational philosophy is every student has a right to a quality education. Students have different learning styles and these differences should be met by the teachers. Tutoring can help with any gaps in learning.

I have a Bachelors of Arts Degree in English and History from Millsaps College as a well as a Masters of Arts Degree in Teaching Education from Louisiana State University. I went to a liberal arts college for undergraduate, which focused on writing and critical thinking skills. I am a certified teacher in the state of Louisiana.

I have taught English I, Publication, 8th grade Reading and ELA, and World Geography. Teaching is a strong passion of mine and I enjoy what I do.

I was a Key Club moderator, which helped students be more involved in the community through service work. I also coached cross country. Running and service work are activities I enjoy outside of school.
