My goal as a teacher is to provide children with a rich environment where they feel safe to explore, initiate learning, and feel free to express themselves. I seek to form close relationship with each child under my care, and their families. I see each child as a unique individual with a great capacity to learn and able to make positive contributions to those around him or her.

I have earned a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Georgia Southern University and graduated with honors from Mercer University in Atlanta with a Masters of Education in Early Childhood Education.

My past teaching background includes working as an elementary teacher in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades, owning and operating my own child development business and serving as a child development consultant for families nationwide.

I enjoy spending time with family and friends, taking walks with my dog and kayaking in the warmer months. I also love to travel any chance I can get. Furthermore, in the fall, I enjoy attending Georgia Tech football games with my family.
