All students need the opportunity to a quality education. Within that opportunity educators need to find the strategies and tools that meet the needs of students as individuals continually monitoring their ongoing progress.

I have a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from the University of South Florida. In addition, I have a Masters Degree in Reading and Literacy from Capella University. I am also a National Board Certified Teacher.

During my professional career, I have taught all grades from Kindergarten through 5th grade and all content areas within each. I have worked as an academic coordinator and am currently working as an education specialist at an elementary school.

I am the President-Elect for the local reading council as well as the district director for the state reading council. I am the testing coordinator and the extended day coordinator at my school.
