I believe learning has to be fun and engaging for the learner. I believe finding the right way to present the material is very important when teaching a student. I believe every student has the ability to learn and succeed, it just takes focus and hard work to make it happen.

I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major in English. I also have a Bachelor of Education with English as my teachable. I am certified for teaching grades 4-10. I am currently completing a Masters in Education at the University of Ottawa.

I have three and a half years teaching experience in Daegu, South Korea. I taught English as a Second Language to students from ages 2 to 16, as well as adult learners.

I have tutored students in Korea. I have volunteered at Daycares to assist with Early Learning Education. I have been a leader in church groups and at summer camps.I am currently volunteering with a Grade 10 class in Ottawa, Ontario, assisting ESL students.
