I believe that all students can learn. Teachers need to find a way to make the material meaningful to the students. I also believe if you give students choices and have them take ownership over their learning they will enjoy learning more.

I went to the University of Wisconsin where I received my Bachelor’s Degree with a double major in Elementary Education and Exceptional Education and a minor in Learning Disabilities. I am currently a licensed teacher in the state of Wisconsin.

I have had experience as a substitute teacher, teacher and tutor. I enjoy working with students and watching them excel.

I am learning American Sign Language. I have been taking classes for two years now. I hope to keep going and possibly one day become an interpreter. I would like to teach deaf students and be able to bring the sounds of the world to them.
