My Educational Philosophy is to have the student think outside the box. Teaching the student how to be successful and how to accept failures as part of life and to grow from it is vital. Education is the key to our future.

I have always been a good student, who was and still is willing to learn. I received my Associate of Arts and then proceeded to get a Bachelors in Integrated studies with emphasis in Art and Psychology. I have learned that I was much more serious as an older returning student and have always encouraged my other classmates to achieve what they deemed an impossible task as an older person as far as going back to college.

I have taught many youth and adult religion classes in my church organization. By doing so it has taught me to get creative and to involve the students as much as possible. I have also substituted in the school systems and was the ESL assistant at an elementary school. I also taught beginning sewing lesson to kids 8-12 years of age.

I have enjoyed team coaching with my husband for the city as a soccer coach for 8 years. I enjoy being outdoor, hiking, riding quads, fishing and various other outdoor activities as well as projects around the house, crafting and all things that are girls.
