When the teacher’s role is to provide access to information, rather than acting as the primary source of information, each student can search for knowledge appropriately.

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies with a minor in Human Development. I have a Masters of Arts in both Educational Administration and Curriculum Instruction.

I have been in education since 1992. I started out as a playground aid, then an instructional aid to a teacher. At the beginning of my career I had taught as a long-term substitute teacher, until I was hired as a permanent teacher in 2007.

I participate in several committees at my school site, such as the professional development team and discipline team.
