Allowing students multiple opportunities for success, and supporting individual student needs on a case by case basis is the mark of a true teacher. The use of technology as a means of supporting learning is a fundamental aspect of educating our students for the future.

I have a degree in English and a Masters degree in education. My focus in the M.Ed was on the use of technology to support critical thinking and provide evidence of critical thinking. I have also participated in two Ministry eduGAINS literacy workshops.

Since 2009, I have been teaching in the classroom in English for grades nine to twelve in the Durham region.

In my spare time, I coach swimming, basketball, lacrosse, and badminton. I also love to get involved with my schools theater productions.
