We are all learners and every person should have multiple opportunities to experience the success of academic “aha moments.” A real educator is good at ensuring that what the student expects to produce aligns with what a student learns happen more frequently than not.

I have a Bachelor’s in English, a Master’s in Education, a certificate to teach ESL, and a Master’s in English. I am a military spouse, so my education has been diverse. I have also completed doctoral course work in Adult and Higher Education.

I have three years of high school teaching experience. As well I have eight years in higher education.

I am an avid baker. I enjoy reading mysteries and non-fiction historical material. I am physically active: I jog, ride bikes, and weight lift.
