Get Your Child Ready for ATLAS Assessments
SchoolTutoring Academy’s ATLAS Tutoring Programs start with an ACADEMIC ASSESSMENT with an Academic Director. This assessment informs your child’s tutor about their abilities, strengths, and weaknesses so the tutoring program can be tailored to their specific needs. Our tutoring programs includes regular one-on-one tutoring, academic mentorship, bi-monthly progress reports, learning profiles, and parental conference calls.

Understanding
ATLAS Assessments
The Arkansas Teaching and Learning Assessment System (ATLAS) is made up of several assessments beginning in 3rd grade. Testing in English Language Arts, Science, and Mathematics occurs yearly from 3rd to 8th grade. Once in high school, students are tested in ELA in 9th and 10th grade, along with assessments in Algebra 1, Geometry, and Biology. 11th grade students also take the ACT. Alternative Assessments in these subjects also exist for students with cognitive disabilities or whose individualized educational program (IEP) specifically calls for such assessment. For more information on the ATLAS you can visit the Arkansas Division of Elementary and Secondary Education website.
