Get Your Child Ready for the Milestones Assessments

SchoolTutoring Academy’s Milestones Tutoring Programs start with an ACADEMIC ASSESSMENT with an Academic Director. This assessment informs your child’s tutor about their abilities, strengths, and weaknesses so the tutoring program can be tailored to their specific needs. Our Milestones Tutoring Programs include regular one-on-one tutoring, academic mentorship, bi-monthly progress reports, learning profiles, and parental conference calls.

Understanding the
Milestones Assessment System

The Georgia Milestones Assessment System begins in 3rd Grade. From 3rd to 8th grade, students must take annual End-of-Grade (EOG) assessments in Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. Throughout high school, students must also complete End-of-Course (EOC) tests in several subject areas spanning the same 4 subject areas. These tests are a graduation requirement. The Georgia Alternate Assessment (GAA) is an alternative assessment option for students with cognitive disabilities. For more information on Georgia Milestones you can visit The Governor’s Office of Student Achievement website.
