Get Your Child Ready for OSTP Assessments
SchoolTutoring Academy’s OSTP Tutoring Programs start with an ACADEMIC ASSESSMENT with an Academic Director. This assessment informs your child’s OSTP tutor about their abilities, strengths, and weaknesses so the tutoring program can be tailored to their specific needs. Our OSTP Tutoring Program includes regular one-on-one tutoring, academic mentorship, bi-monthly progress reports, learning profiles, and parental conference calls.

Understanding
the OSTP
The Oklahoma School Testing Program (OSTP) is made up of several assessments beginning in 3rd grade. Testing in English Language Arts and Mathematics occurs yearly from 3rd to 8th grade. Students also take Science assessments in 5th and 8th grade. Once in high school, students are tested in ELA and Mathematics, via the ACT, along with and Science and US History in 11th grade. Alternative Assessments in these subjects also exist for students with cognitive disabilities or whose individualized educational program (IEP) specifically calls for such assessment.
