Get Your Child Ready for PRMA Assessments
SchoolTutoring Academy’s PRMA Tutoring Programs start with an ACADEMIC ASSESSMENT with an Academic Director. This assessment informs your child’s PRMA tutor about their abilities, strengths, and weaknesses so the tutoring program can be tailored to their specific needs. Our PRMA Tutoring Program includes regular one-on-one tutoring, academic mentorship, bi-monthly progress reports, learning profiles, and parental conference calls.

Understanding
PRMA Assessments
Newfoundland and Labrador administers the Provincial Reading and Mathematics Assessment (PRMA) for all students starting in grade 3. Students are assessed in grades 3, 6, and 9, with the subject of the assessment alternating between Mathematics and Reading each year. The PRMA is administered each year in the final week of May or first week of June. For more information on the PRMA assessments you can visit the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador website.
