Prepare for the SC READY/EOCEP Assessments
SchoolTutoring Academy’s SC READY and EOCEP Tutoring Programs start with an ACADEMIC ASSESSMENT with an Academic Director. This assessment informs your child’s tutor about their abilities, strengths, and weaknesses so the tutoring program can be tailored to their specific needs. Our SC READY and EOCEP tutoring programs include regular one-on-one tutoring, academic mentorship, bi-monthly progress reports, learning profiles, and parental conference calls.

Understanding
SC READY and EOCEP
South Carolina state testing begins in 3rd grade. From 3rd-8th grade, students complete summative SC READY tests. Students are tested annually in ELA and Mathematics along with Science in 4th and 6th grade. Once in high school, 10th grade students must take the PSAT or PreACT tests. Additionally, high school students must complete End-of-Course (EOCEP) tests in Algebra I, Intermediate Algebra, Biology I, English II, and United States History and the Constitution (USHC). For more information on SC READY and EOCEP testing you can visit the South Carolina Department of Education website.
