Get Your Child Ready for CAASPP Assessments

This assessment informs your child’s CAASPP tutor about their abilities, strengths, and weaknesses so the tutoring program can be tailored their specific needs. Our CAASPP Tutoring Program includes regular one-on-one tutoring, academic mentorship, bi-monthly progress reports, learning profiles, and parental conference calls.

Understanding
the CAASPP System

The CAASPP System is made up of several assessments beginning in 3rd grade. Testing in English Language Arts, Mathematics, and Science is mandatory. Alternative Assessments in these subjects also exist for students with cognitive disabilities or whose individualized educational program (IEP) specifically calls for such assessment. There are also assessments for students learning English or Spanish as a second language. These assessments fall within a 25 day window determined by local educational agencies. This window often falls between January and July each year. For more information on the CAASPP system you can read our blog or visit the California Department of Education website.
