Students can also express themselves artistically through courses in areas such as the visual arts, theatre, and dance. Skills and techniques that are specific to each discipline may be acquired and interpretation and response to art is also emphasized. The future of art and the effects of technology are also explored.
Physical education and health classes are also part of the curriculum at Hillsborough County Public Schools. These classes teach students about physical and emotional behaviors that are both appropriate and responsible. Students are expected to demonstrate competency in a variety of forms of movement in physical education classes. These forms of movement are carefully selected to improve fitness and/or performance in many activities. Health courses also promote fitness through educating students on disease prevention and other healthy practices.

My daughter was able to improve her test scores after a few months of tutoring with SchoolTutoring. However, while raising test scores is great, the real payoff is in the self-confidence that she gained.
I just wanted to send a quick note to say thank-you! My son is very impressed with his tutor and looks forward to each session. What’s particularly amazing about this is our son has never really looked forward to math or school for that matter!
We are so happy with the results of your tutoring program and academic support. Homework time was such a stressful evening for the entire evening before we brought your tutors into our home. Thank you for all your help!

Chalk Talk: Buying School Supplies for Elementary School
Buying supplies for elementary school students can be a lot of fun, as they tend to be very colorful with fun designs or pictures. Supplies for creating art are often on the list, such as markers, crayons, and/or colored pencils. Pens in different colors can also be bought but make sure that you throw some plain black and blue ink pens into the cart as well. No. 2 pencils will also be high on any supply list, as will pencil boxes to store everything. Colorful erasers are often much better-looking than the old-fashioned pink ones but keep in mind that they do not erase as well. Does your child normally take care of the things that you buy them? If the answer is yes, then fluffy pens or other delicate items with feathers or beads on them may be an easy and inexpensive way to let them show off their personality.
