Students who speak a language besides English at their home are provided with classes and helps to bring them to a point where they can learn to their greatest potential in the English speaking classroom. Students that fall into the Gifted category after evaluation and testing are provided with extra challenges and programming to assist them and provide for their needs. Students that show they are below proficiency standards are helped and provided with extra assistance to bring them up to that level. Students who have particularly learning requirements are also taught according to their learning needs.

Students who graduate from the Camp Hill School District leave with an education that was designed to prepare them for what lies ahead. In the areas of technology and advancement in many careers, students who graduate have been exposed to areas that interest them and provided opportunities to dig deeper into their career pathways and prepare for college or professional life.

Camp Hill District Curriculum Used in Our In-Home Tutoring Programs

Camp Hill School District takes into account the guidelines and requirements set out by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. In order to keep their curriculum current and relevant, they update it when changes are required. Students in the district begin their education by learning how to read, write and understand numbers. This knowledge carries into their other classes of social studies, technology, safety and health, PE, the arts, and others. Students are encouraged to grow in proficiency and understanding of all subjects, but proficiency exams are given in the Core subjects.

We currently cover the following Camp Hill-area school district: Camp Hill School District.

Chalk Talk: How to Apply Effectively for Scholarships

There are many scholarships available. Just go to Fastweb.com and you will never finish your list of scholarships. Applying for the most helpful ones can save you much time and frustration in the long run. Don’t decide on the best scholarships based on ease of application, either. Take the time to look through scholarship applications and see which ones fit you to a T. These are the best. Also look for more local scholarships. Elk’s clubs, large companies and other organizations and social groups often provide scholarships in the local community. Find out about these either by doing your own research or asking your guidance counselor. Colleges often have a list of scholarships as well. Do your research and find out how you can apply for these. Finally, when applying, take the time to write an essay that addresses specifically what they ask. It is usually best to personalize applications to the specific scholarship applied for so that the scholarship committee can see why you, specifically, should receive that money.
