Educating Our Parents: Understanding the Fremont District Curriculum

In English/Language Arts the curriculum describes how to bring about skills in reading literary and non-fiction texts, the writing process, and other communication skills. The Math curriculum describes how students will master the skills of numerical operations, algebraic operations, geometry, data analysis and other areas as they progress yearly through their math education. This curriculum design promotes reflective thinking, analysis, problem-solving and other thinking skills as students continue deepening their knowledge.

For subjects like the Sciences, History and Social Studies, Technical courses, and other specialized programs there are curriculum that describe the learning outcomes of the program. This prepares students for the next steps in their learning and ensures they are ready for future academic and professional pursuits.
