Educating Our Parents: Understanding the Grand Chute District Curriculum
Healthy behaviors are also important at Appleton North High School. The school believes that all people have the same inherent worth. They also know that each person needs meaning in life and that a personal value system gives direction to one’s life. Each person directs one’s life through personal decision-making, and each person is responsible for one’s actions. The school strives to teach and inspire these behaviors.
Students also learn practical skills to help them with future practices like opening and maintaining a savings account and checking account. Students learn how to formulate solutions to problems, compute their findings, and interpret those findings in a manner that makes their success in the future most likely.Quality of life is dependent on a healthy community, and each person has an obligation to themselves and others. The school teaches students this by encouraging service to others and volunteer work.

SchoolTutoring has played an important role in improving our son’s confidence and attitude towards school. His grades have also improved steadily throughout the school year.
My daughter was able to improve her test scores after a few months of tutoring with SchoolTutoring. However, while raising test scores is great, the real payoff is in the self-confidence that she gained.
I just wanted to send a quick note to say thank-you! My son is very impressed with his tutor and looks forward to each session. What’s particularly amazing about this is our son has never really looked forward to math or school for that matter!
We are so happy with the results of your tutoring program and academic support. Homework time was such a stressful evening for the entire evening before we brought your tutors into our home. Thank you for all your help!
Our daughter, a first grader, struggled with basic reading and handwriting. When she began with SchoolTutoring she was almost a year behind her class. Within a year of being enrolled, she is reading above her grade level and has the confidence to match.

Chalk Talk: Rolling Applications
Rolling is a type of college applications usually offered by colleges considered mid-level in terms of selectivity. Essentially, the college opens to applications at a certain date and ends at a certain date, usually a pretty broad range. Students are free to apply at any point during this time. The fundamental difference between this and other application types is that colleges will read the applications as soon as they receive them and send a decision typically within two to three weeks. With other application types, colleges generally won’t decide on the applications until after the deadline has passed. Rolling also lacks restrictions, which makes it a very appealing option for many applicants.
