Online education is becoming more common, at every educational level. Some schools, school districts, and even libraries, have started to implement the option of online learning for students in grades 3-12 as a means for students to continue their learning during an extended time of leave from school. Sickness, relocation, academic or behavioral circumstances may prohibit students from attending school; online courses in core subjects gives students the opportunity to maintain progress at their grade level and stay on course for expected graduation. Learning online may also improve your child’s level of interest in school. Similar to the increased use of technology in the classroom, enrolling in one, a few o many online courses to be taken at home, can engage students to be active in their learning.
