Keeping Informed: Recent Kelso Educational News
- STOP Coalition - The district has received a grant to run a program that aims to stop substance abuse among students. The group works to stop alcohol, drug and tobacco use among community children and works with families to give them resources to help their children stay substance free. The group use relationship building, advocacy, empowerment and education to help the students of the community to stay substance free.
- Kelso Educator - The Kelso Educator is a publication put out by the district to keep the families and community updated on newsworthy events. The publication comes out quarterly and highlights special achievements by students and staff, describes programs within the district and introduces new staff members. All issues of the Kelso Educator are archived online.
- Kelso Virtual Academy - Kelso Virtual Academy is a publicly funded online school within the district that allows students to tailor their education to their individual needs. Students are able to take courses exclusively online, or in conjunction with their traditional courses at their regular school. Both advanced and remedial courses are offered through the Academy.
