Milford’s students in preschool through high school are educated in Milford City Schools. The district includes one preschool, six elementary schools, one junior high school, a ninth grade community, and a high school. Educating Our Parents: Understanding the Milford District Curriculum
Milford’s high school students take part in a social studies curriculum that introduces them to global issues. Students learn about the value of alliances, trade agreements, and treaties in protecting the interests of nations and promoting global commerce. Learners explore how technology has furthered the cooperation between nations in a number of pursuits, particularly in addressing global issues such as hunger, poverty, and violence. Human rights are a primary area of focus as well. Students learn about the ways in which nations around the world both support and deny human rights.

- Music Students Receive Honors in Statewide Competition - Students from Milford High School recently competed in the Ohio Music Educators Association Contest. Among the awards Milford musicians received were a 1 rating (the highest possible) for the Chamber Singers.
- Student Artwork Featured in Governor’s Youth Art Exhibition - Milford High School Student Will Taylor was recently chosen to participate in the Governor’s Youth Art Exhibition. Will’s artwork is among only 300 pieces that were chosen out of 12,000 entries.
- Students Excel at Future Educators Association Conference - Student members of the Future Educators Association recently competed at the state conference and brought home a number of accolades. Several students placed in the top five in their respective categories, including several top-three finishes.
