Educating Our Parents: Understanding the Norristown District Curriculum
As is required of all Pennsylvania schools according to the Pennsylvania Department of Education, Norristown Area School District pushes their students to succeed in all required subject areas as well as providing opportunities for gifted students as well as help in areas of special education. The learning objectives that are set forth in the curriculum are adaptable to any learning style so all students have the opportunity to achieve the expectations.
To assist in obtaining their goal to make every student college ready, Norristown has an impressive technology base including computers, programs (including such as AutoCAD for students to learn on), and smart board white boards for learning aids. Students are encouraged to use a variety of multimedia technologies on their projects. This helps in the technology education requirement set by the state to enable every student to be educated to the highest possible level as they graduate and enter their careers in the technology age.

My daughter was able to improve her test scores after a few months of tutoring with SchoolTutoring. However, while raising test scores is great, the real payoff is in the self-confidence that she gained.
I just wanted to send a quick note to say thank-you! My son is very impressed with his tutor and looks forward to each session. What’s particularly amazing about this is our son has never really looked forward to math or school for that matter!
We are so happy with the results of your tutoring program and academic support. Homework time was such a stressful evening for the entire evening before we brought your tutors into our home. Thank you for all your help!
Our daughter, a first grader, struggled with basic reading and handwriting. When she began with SchoolTutoring she was almost a year behind her class. Within a year of being enrolled, she is reading above her grade level and has the confidence to match.
