Richland District Curriculum Used in Our In-Home Tutoring Programs
Richland Public Schools curriculum committees took time to research with publishers in each discipline what would help them reach their educational goals with their students. At the elementary level, the same publishers were selected for every grade level in Math and English to allow the students the luxury of being able to focus on learning the skills necessary instead of taking time to get used to the style of different publishers every year. In Math, the EnVision Math Series is used for grades K-5. This curriculum series teaches students the why behind the math. It also allows the students to work at their own pace. The district has adopted the Houghton Mifflin curriculum for reading, which takes a whole language approach to reading.
We currently cover the following Richland-area school district: Richland School District.

Educating Our Parents: Understanding the Richland District Curriculum
In middle school, students are able to take the grade level math track, which used the Holt math series for grades six, seven and eight, or the pre-algebra and algebra route, which utilizes the Prentice Hall curriculum. Students that opt for the Algebra track do receive high school credit for the courses. In high school, students have more freedom in the selection of their courses. All curricula allow the teachers to help the students become both college and career ready. Students must take basic level courses in all core subject areas, but are able to choose from department electives to complete graduation and college entrance requirements. view all richland tutors
