In doing so, the districts provide a seamless transition from one district to the other. As such, students in Ringwood receive a well-balanced, comprehensive education tin the core subject areas.

As part of the technology curriculum, students learn about how to safely use technology and what it means to be a good digital citizen. The elementary school curriculum teaches students about ethical concerns when using digital tools, such as downloading music, photos or videos that are protected by copyright. In middle school, students learn about cyber safety, specifically not to give out personal information over the Internet and to protect account passwords by keeping them secret. The high school curriculum focuses on hacking, censorship and cybercrimes. Research shows that students in grades 6-12 that participate in choir or band classes show marked improvement in math scores by grade 12. What’s more, these students also do better on the SAT verbal test, showing an improvement of 57 points over students who do not participate in music classes.
