I believe that teaching successfully requires getting the students to trust you. The best way to do that is to show that you care about them individually by paying attention to their needs and concerns. If you show that you care to know about their worries and concerns, they will know you care.
I obtained my B.A. in English from University of California, Irvine in 2005. After taking a few years’ break to work, I returned to school at Chapman University in 2012. I am currently at Chapman pursuing my M.A. in English and M.F.A in Creative Writing (Poetry).
I have experience teaching and substitute teaching. I have also helped students prepare for their SAT exams. I am currently an Instructional Aide at a continuation high school.
I enjoy hiking, writing, doodling, creative lettering but above all, spending time with my daughter. Napping is also really awesome as well as trying new recipes.
