I believe that each child is a unique individual that requires a secure, stable, loving, protected, clean, stimulating atmosphere in which they grow and thrive, emotionally, mentally, physically, intellectually and socially. It is my desire as an educator to create this environment that will help students to excel to their fullest potential by providing a safe, clean, and supportive environment in which students will become independent learners.
My experience as a graduate student at Touro College was exceptional. I have been provided with the necessary skills and knowledge to teach childhood and special education. My overall experience from field experience and practicum also provided me with a hand-on experience which allowed me to truly understand the profession of teaching.
I am currently a substitute teacher in an elementary school. I have been teaching for 2 years. I also have experience working with children with special needs.
I volunteer at my church providing assistance in church school. I also enjoy reading, swimming, arts and crafts and listening to music. I also enjoy writing poetry and gardening.
