My primary goal has always been to provide students with the skills needed to learn. Regardless of the subject, learning to read and understand the main points of the material is critical. I believe that all students are capable of learning and that people (adults and children) learn at different speeds and by a variety of different methods.
I currently hold a Doctorate from the University of Southern California in Public Administration and Gerontology. I have a Masters degree in Public Administration and a Bachelors degree in Psychology from UC Berkeley.
I have been teaching at the undergraduate level for 12 years and am currently teaching for the University of Maryland College Park. Subjects I have taught include psychology, gerontology, and public administration.
My favorite extracurricular activity is spending time with my children and husband. We enjoy traveling, going to museums, and being together in general. I love to read historical fiction, and aim to read one book a week.
