My patience is one of my best qualities, and if a student doesn’t understand something the first time then I need to find another way to explain the concepts.
I have always been an honor roll student since Elementary school and this has continued all the way through college. I was well disciplined in school and was always one of the teacher’s favorite students.
I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics with a minor in Actuarial Science at Bridgewater State University. My related course work materials includes Calculus I-IV, Probability Theory, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Combinatorics, Intro to Analysis and Quantitative Methods of Management to list a few.
I have been tutoring for several years now. I started tutoring at my college, but then I created my own private tutoring operation for middle and high school students. As you can see, I have experience with all different age groups.
In high school, I played on the ultimate frisbee team. In college, I was a part of the math club. I also was the founder and president of my college’s Board Game Club, which started out small but under my leadership began to grow. We also held fundraisers as well as cosponsored events with the school.
