My goal is to instill a lifelong love for learning in students of all ages. I believe all students have strengths and focusing on their strong suits will make learning more rewarding.

I received my Bachelors of Arts in English from San Diego State University. I also hold a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, allowing me to teach grades K-8. I continue to take graduate level courses, keeping me current on new pedagogies and effective teaching methods.

I have 16 years of experience as an Elementary classroom teacher. I also teach Literacy Intervention to students K-12. Teaching is my passion!

My favorite activities include reading, writing, cooking, crafting, outdoor fun, all water sports, travel and going to the dog park with my mini poodle. I love living in Southern California, where the sun shines almost all of the time.
