I teach with the expectation that each of my students will succeed. I reward with positive reinforcements while offering a challenging curriculum. I am aware that students have various learning styles that require a specialized curriculum that addresses their needs and strengths.
I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with 30 hours plus in professional development. I then became a National Board Certified Teacher EA Math for ten years. I have 28 years of experience as middle school class room teacher in public school in South Carolina.I was a fifteen-year member of the South Carolina Council of the Teachers of Mathematics. This state organization is affiliated with NCTM. I was an eight-year member of the National Middle School Association.
I am an AKC Dog Show Judge and breeder. I’m also presently enrolled in graduate classes to add online teaching endorsement to my teacher’s certificate.
