I enjoy finding out what works best for the child so they can learn and excel with positive reinforcements. Not all children learn the same way, so my goal is to find the way that works the best for them and use that when working one on one with them, or the class a as whole. Patience is required and helps a child’s production and learning.
I graduated high school in 1993 and always wanted to be a teacher. However, my parents could not afford to send me to school, so years later, I took it upon myself to carry out my dream. I am close to graduating with my Bachelor’s in English and am looking forward to teaching! I enjoy school and English and want to help children learn in a fun way.
I was a Sunday School teacher for a few years at my local church. I cyber schooled my son in third grade until he decided he missed his friends and wanted to return to public school. I am also a Tiger Cub Scout leader (I have a den of nine boys) and hope to continue this journey and be the leader for my youngest son as he advances.
I am very involved with my church and I rely a lot on my faith to get through the tough spots in life. I am a soccer, baseball, and karate mom. I enjoy knitting, reading, and baking.
