An educator can quite possibly be the one most important aspect of a child’s development. As an educator, I believe it is my purpose to provide a positive and safe educational atmosphere for each student I encounter.

It is every individual’s birthright to be educated; it is every educator’s gift to provide this education. I will teach to each student and their individualities. I will teach to multiple intelligences to bolster the effectiveness of my instruction for all students. I will strive to know students personally, as well as academically, in order to enhance the value of their learning. I will bring my love of children, determination, persistence, responsibility, knowledge, experience, creativity, and heart with me each day as I encounter students, as to make for a positive, productive learning environment.

I graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication (Public Relations), May 2000. I obtained a Master’s Degree in Education from William Carey University in May of 2008. Through “hands-on” experience and education, I have gained and possess a strong knowledge of classroom management, curriculum, standardized testing achievement, instructional interventions, differentiated instruction, performance-based/multi-skilled technology integrated lessons, etc.
