Education is a gateway; it has been my personal gateway academically and professionally. Every person is a learner throughout their lifetime. People learn through both academics and experiences outside of a traditional education system.

I graduated from High School with my advanced Regents Diploma. I then graduated from St. Lawrence University with my B.A. in Sociology.

I was a daycare/preschool teacher. I have worked with developmentally disabled individuals on skill building. I have also tutored and mentored college courses for HEOP at St. Lawrence and EOP at Onondaga Community College.

Through my time as a student I was extremely involved in student life programs and offices. I believe extracurricular activities, when well-balanced with academic needs and wants, can be a great attribute to a educational experience.
