Education to me is a way to gain a skill to pursue a career. Everyone is entitled to it or should have a choice to do it. I see my role as a tutor to equip students with the support so they can do independent study and pursue their future goals.
I completed International Baccalaureate Diploma from high school. I then went on to complete my Bachelor of Science in two majors; Environmental and Resource science, and Biology with Honours. I’ve also completed an Honours thesis in plant hormone research during my last year in university.
I have experience tutoring students voluntarily in one-on-one environments at various grade levels. This includes students at the university level.
Throughout school, I’ve been involved in various community services including tutoring, model united nations, recycling etc. In university I co-founded a student club that promotes environmentally friendly tourism in Ontario and organised various educational trips.
