I believe that students learn better by involving them in the learning process by hands on, task driven material.

In high school, I was on the national honor society. I completed my Bachelor’s in Mathematics from Juniata College then obtained my teaching certificate from Lock Haven University and my Masters in Special Education from Saint Joseph’s.

I have been curriculum coordinator for Math and Science for the past 3 years. I have been a teacher since 2009. I have taught math for six years, special education for 2 years. This includes teaching in a brick and mortar class, as well as, online classes.

I have coached basketball and softball for 2 years as well as taught dance. I have been class adviser for 3 years and counting and a first year yearbook adviser.
