EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
I believe that all students deserve an individualized educational experience. Each learner has different strengths/ weaknesses and different learning style preferences. I believe learning should be individualized to fit each student.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
I first received my Bachelor’s Degree in Literature and Anthropology. I then went on to receive a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and also received my New York State teaching license. I also have a Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership (K-12).
I have a strong background in education especially early childhood education, as well, as in literature studies.
TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have experience teaching elementary school and working with students from Pre-Kindergarten to 5th grade. I also have experience teaching Master’s level college courses in education.
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
I have run after school programs for children that included arts and crafts, literature club, cooking club, and homework help. I love to make activities fun for children that also are full of educational value.
