Standards of learning are placed for a reason, but a lack of reaching the standard, does not equate the lack of having knowledge. The challenge is finding the best way to communicate the information to best educate the individual so they can absorb the knowledge needed to reach their academic potential.

I graduated three years Cum Laude from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and a minor in English. After working for several years, I decided to pursue my Masters Degree from Southern Methodist University. I graduated with a 3.8 in 2012. I am currently applying for my PhD in Conflict Analysis to start in the Fall of 2015.

I have experience working with students who struggle in a variety of subjects. I have a passion for assisting in the education of others.

In high school, I was the founder and editor of the school newspaper. I was also a part of the National Honor Society and held the position of Vice President. In college, I was in a sorority and also a part of the Greek Honor Society. Upon graduation, I was involved in Toast Masters through Ernst and Young. Through my Masters program, I became involved in Mediators Beyond Boarders and am still an active member.
